Hal Oreck was called to the Bar in British Columbia in June 2015.  Hal's practice focuses on advising privately held corporations, mortgage lending and realization, as well as drafting Wills, trusts and administering estates.  He has appeared before both the Supreme Court of B.C. and the Provincial Court.

He received his LLB from Cardiff University in 2013 and completed the National Committee on Accreditation requirements in January, 2014.  Prior to joining Oreck Karby, Hal spent seven years working in Trading Credit Risk Management at the Royal Bank of Canada.  

Hal is active in the local sports community and an avid basketball fan.
